Understanding the Craft Behind Every MOISI Ring

Each MOISI ring is a work of balance — between design, structure, and emotion.
Understanding the anatomy of a ring allows you to appreciate the craftsmanship behind
every detail and helps you create a piece that’s uniquely yours.

Band (Shank)

The band forms the foundation of your ring — the circle that holds your story. At MOISI, every band is crafted with a comfort-fit interior, ensuring effortless wear and timeless
durability.

Band Width: Our signature width is 2.0 mm, offering the perfect blend of delicacy and strength. Thinner bands (1.8 mm) have a refined, modern feel, while slightly thicker options (2.2–2.5 mm) lend extra presence and support to larger stones.

Profile: Always comfort fit — smooth inside, perfectly balanced outside.

2) The Setting

The setting defines the ring’s character — it determines how light interacts with your stone and how the design sits on your hand.

Basket Setting: Elegant and timeless, this setting supports the stone in a metal
framework that allows light to enter from all angles. Depending on the design, the height may vary and won’t always sit flush with a wedding band.

Cathedral Setting: Distinguished by arches that rise gracefully from the band toward the stone, adding height and a sculptural silhouette.

Bezel Setting: A modern favorite where the metal gently encircles the stone, offering both security and a sleek aesthetic — perfect for daily wear.

Halo Setting: A circle of smaller stones that surrounds the center gem, magnifying its brilliance and giving the illusion of a larger center stone.

3. PRONGS

Prongs are the delicate arms that hold your gemstone securely in place — and define its visual personality. Each MOISI ring is individually prong-set by hand, ensuring perfect balance and strength.

Claw or Round Prongs: Classic and elegant, allowing the most light to reach the stone.

Double Prongs: Add refined symmetry and extra security.

Compass Prongs: Positioned north, south, east, and west for a contemporary,
architectural finish.

2) The Setting

Even the unseen parts of a MOISI ring are crafted with purpose — from hidden halos to subtle sparkle beneath the setting.

Hidden Halo: A row of smaller stones nestled just below the main gem’s base — a secret shimmer visible only from the side.

Peekaboo Halo: A halo that sits slightly above the band, revealing flashes of brilliance from every angle while maintaining a refined top view.

Bridge: The structure connecting the band to the setting. When adorned with fine pavé, it becomes the Bridge Pavé — an understated detail that glimmers when the ring moves.

From band to bridge, every element of your MOISI ring is a testament to precision and beauty. Once you understand the craft behind each part, you can design a piece that’s more than jewelry — it’s the beginning of your story.
